LOHAN to straddle meaty titanium rod

Some points of clarification:

The aluminium plate is bolted to the underside of the truss. The titanium launch rod is bolted through the plate. The Vulture 2 swings freely on the rod, which passes through the top of the fuselage. Where the rod passes though the fuselage, there are Teflon tube inserts, to minimise friction. A sacrificial rubber pad protects the spaceplane's rear end from damage during the ascent, since it would otherwise be resting on the aluminium plate. For obvious reasons, the Vulture 2 must have a "V" tail elevon configuration. The Teflon strips

Grease - SEI Forums

Installation Guide SE216 provides that "grease water proof" and "high temperature grease" must be applied at various locations (flutes, etc..) Mercury manuals specify "2-4-C Marine Lubricant with Teflon" for use in the same areas that you specify for "high temperature grease," but I consider "2-4 C" to a waterproof grease.

OrGreenic Kitchenware gets the Try It treatment

  1. The fabric coating repels dirt and grease and is touted as more water-repellent than other protective materials - even Teflon. Deakin University researchers in Geelong are working on reducing the cost of keeping industrial workers, hospitality staff
  2. banned the use of the chemical found in Teflon used in non-stick cookware. Now there are many alternatives, including the latest, OrGreenic Kitchenware. It claims to be the environmentally friendly way to cook with little or no fat, oil or grease.
  3. Instead of merely repelling water or grease, clothing will push them away. Tong Lin and colleagues at the Australian Future Fibres Research and Innovation Centre at Deakin University wanted to use layer-by-layer (LbL) deposition to form a stable
  4. By Cameron Chai Scientists have developed a new fabric coating that can actively shrug off dirt, acids, grease and other filthy matter. During testing they found that it had more water-repellent properties than Teflon or car wax.
  5. Scientists are reporting development and successful testing of a fabric coating that would give new meaning to the phrase "stain-resistant" -- a coating that would take an active role in sloughing off grease, dirt, strong acids and other gunk.
