The dogs ripped off the ostrich’s head, plucked its feathers before the bird’s owner found them devouring its carcass.

The bird’s feathers were scattered all over the area where the dogs were found eating it.

The ostrich was owned by Andrew Linsey who kept it at his home near Emlalatini Development Centre, which is situated not far from the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary.
