The Silent Oligarch by Chris Morgan Jones: Review

Reading Chris Morgan Jones's first novel, The Silent Oligarch , is a bit like opening a Russian nesting doll. To get to the heart of this thriller, much of it set in the former Soviet Union, the reader must follow an ever-narrowing trail of corporate shell games and government corruption that the novel's sleuth is navigating.

Benedict Webster, a journalist-turned corporate spy, is one of the book's two protagonists. He is following this convoluted corporate trail at the behest of an unsavoury client who has engaged the business intelligence agency for which Webster works. In an attempt to flush out Konstantin Malin, the Russian oligarch of the novel's title, the client has asked Webster to compile a file on Richard Lock, an English lawyer who is the money-laundering front man for the oligarch.

Apparently there are some geeks out there who agree with me, and took it upon themselves to set up these super tacky dolls based on favorite movie like Star Wars
