Memorial Day parades, services scheduled

The Memorial Day holiday will be observed in the area through Monday. This is a list of area Memorial Day services, parades and activities.

THURSDAY

GREENWICH

Greenwich Color Guard ceremonies will take place at area parks, memorials and cemeteries at various times.

FRIDAY

GREENWICH

The Memorial Day parade, sponsored by Greenwich VFW Post 7291 and American Legion Post 515, will begin at 6 p.m. following a brief ceremony honoring those who died at sea on the bridge over the Batten Kill. The parade will continue west on Main Street to Abeel Avenue and will end at the VFW building.

Lightning Set to Strike Girl Scouts - Tampa Bay Lightning - Features
