Soccer moms are known for driving their kids around town for sporting events in their SUVs, handing out juice for halftime and sometimes yelling at the ref -- or their kids.

Three field hockey and lacrosse moms in Macungie have taken their committment one step further. They’ve started a business to supply equipment for the sports to makes it more accessible and less costly for them. And it's doing so well that it has recently expanded its stock.

Located in the heart of the borough, it’s called Sticks N Flicks Specialty Sports .

The moms, Lisa Gaumer, Amy Hillegass  and Nancy DeBellis, are all former athletes themselves. Gaumer and Hillegass played field hockey for the legendary Sue Butz-Stavin at Emmaus High School and Debellis played for Millie Nemeth at Parkland.
