Kenworth to Add Heavy Duty Cummins Westport ISX12 G to Complete Line of ...

The ISX12 G will be available with the Kenworth T660, Kenworth T800, Kenworth T800 short hood, and the Kenworth W900S. The ISX12 G will come with a range of ratings to 400 hp and 1,450 ft-lbs of torque, optional engine brake and manual and automatic transmission capability to meet customer needs. Kenworth is showing a T660 equipped with a CNG-powered ISX12 G engine at its booth (#30305) at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville.

The Petroleum Equipment Institute has announced that the online tests for recommended practices for storage and distribution of diesel exhaust fluid (PEI/RP1100) is now available. The test, developed by the IEP Committee DEF, contains 70 questions and can be accessed by www.pei.org/RP1100.

RP1100 describes how to install the storage and distribution equipment DEF fuel dispensing facilities and repair and maintenance garages.The recommended practice is issued in response to the national implementation of RES distribution infrastructure in travel centers and fleet of refueling points. IAP said that the online test covers RP1100 document in its entirety.
