Mrs. Agnes B. Tate

Services for Mrs. Agnes Burdeshaw Tate, 92, will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 11 a.m., at Harvest Assembly of God Church in Bainbridge with Rev. Malcolm Parker officiating. Andy Tate, Dewayne Tate, Bo Kent, Jared Long, Levi Dunn and Jack Newberry will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 p.m., at Cox Funeral Home Chapel.

Agnes Burdeshaw Tate was born January 25, 1920, in Malone, Fla., to Archie and Matilda Burdeshaw. She died Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital.

She was married to James Alvin Tate and was a wonderful pastor’s wife and Sunday School teacher. Agnes loved to sew, read and quilt. She was a member of Harvest Assembly of God Church.
