A weekend of technology fail

Sorry, but it's a fairly boring post today, mostly about the weekend, where I had major technology fail - and it made me realise just how much I rely on technology in my day-to-day life.

I'm not sure whether my dependence on the internet is a good thing or a bad one but the initial sign -  one that I all but ignored -  that something was up was while Master Game Junkie and I were playing co-op in Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters on Friday night. The "You have been disconnected from Xbox Live" pop-up appeared during a mission and I initially dismissed it. We continued taking on the manhunters with our Green Lantern powers: me with a chaingun construct, him with a giant hammer.
