Some (most) are too young to remember the TV spots for the cameras just press a button Polaroid, which produces "razor-sharp" images of lasting colors "in just 90 seconds." Was the first Polaroid camera with an "embedded" computer - so that the commercial voiceover told us. When the company announced its intention to close its plant and stop making the film a few years ago, it was like the sudden death of a superstar neglected.
